Thank you Ric. We can never thank you enough for all the great years, matches, moments, promos etc. that you gave us each and every week for 36 years.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Diamonds are Forever and so is Ric Flair!

If the NWA still meant something, this would be big.

That being said, NWA WAS huge, and Ric was a large part of that. It's good they recognized him.

Got to love the fact that he almost bothced "I became a World Champion for the World Wrestling...National Wrestling Alliance."

He also called WWE World Wrestling Federation, lol.

    Getting senile old man!

Pearce is the MAN? Well, to be the man.....

Hell, if Flair is going back to the NWA, he could bring Sting, and make the NWA #3....Could be interesting.

I hope his speech here was better then the wwe one. Where he kissed everyone high up in the company's ass. I know i'm not the only one who was disappointed!

Kissing ass requires you to ignore your true beliefs for purposes of self-gain.

If Ric thinks Triple H sucks but says publicly that he's great, that's kissing ass. If he thinks Triple H really is great and says so publicly, that's not kissing ass. That's just giving credit to Triple H because Ric believes Triple H deserves such credit.

I'm not talking about just 3h i Get that they are friends. Although you could tell reading ric's book he was thinking HMM who does hunter hate? I'll bash them. The 1st person he thanked that night in orlando was kevin dunn. Now i'm sure kevin is a hard worker and doesnt have a easy job and deserves some love too. However he should NOT be the 1st person the greatest of all time thanks in his hof speech! Kevin is also a major influence, in backstage politics and what does and does not happen. Also ric only thanked nwa/wcw guys that were there that night.no one else. I know he probably could not have mentioned sting by name ( he did mention benoit tho) he could have said steve borden and most people would have gotten it. all i'm saying is imo And several other i talked to his speech could have been better!

I watched his speech, and it was awesome. I don't know why he didn't thank Sting, though, because no one could really stop him from doing it once he was up there on stage. Plus, he thanked a TON of people, people unknown to wrestling fans (like the people who have made Ric's robes and boots through the years).

Uh, Ric Flair is not a 10-time NWA champion. He won the NWA title for the eighth and final time in 1993 from Barry Windham.

Flair could have called Sting by name the same way Sting is calling Ric's name on TNA television each week.
I got a lot of respoect for the Nature Boy but why Corpus Christi? As a Texan I can think of about 1000 other cities it would have been better suited for in the Lone Star State!
